Breeder Referral Information
For consideration of a placement on the ARTC breeder referral list, the applicant’s website must meet or exceed the COE of the Parent Club. There must be no mention of the terms, shorty, short legged or jack russells. Our club represents the American Kennel Club Russell Terrier and it is required that all listed breeders websites on the ARTC website will reflect that representation.
All listings are subject to majority vote of Board of Directors. AKC Guidelines for Parent Club breeder websites are listed below.

AKC Website Guidelines
· In the light of all the bad press for dog breeders, we need to make sure we present a professional image to the world. Go to www.akc.org and look up other Parent Club websites to see what their breeder’s websites look like.
· The main focus of the website should be the adult dogs and their accomplishments. The AKC philosophy is breeding to improve upon a breed. We should to be mindful of breeding for a purpose with appropriate health testing.
