The ARTC Offers Four Types of Memberships
1. Newsletter & Foreign: We welcome and encourage all AKC Russell Terrier Fanciers whether ew to the breed or currently involved in the breed to begin the process of becoming members of the AKC Parent Club to serve the breed and become involved in preserving the breed for future generations. The newsletter membership is all inclusive and is designed to include Russell Terrier Fanciers who don't have sponsors at the time of their application. The newsletter membership allows Fanciers to become involved in all club activities including serving on committees to further the advances of our breed. They have all the advantages of members except for voting and holding office. Through service to the breed they have the opportunity to get acquainted with members for future sponsorship to become full status members. This type of membership is also open to non-US residents. Newsletter Membership dues are $25.00 per year and due on January 1 and if unpaid lapses on March 31st every year.
2. Junior Membership is the same application as the Newsletter & Foreign application and is for JR's up to 18 years of age. Juniors can do everything except vote and hold office. Junior memberships are at no charge.
3. Single Membership - This membership includes voting rights and the right to hold office in the club. It requires 2 sponsors who know the applicant well. Single memberships are $35.00 due and payable on January 1 every year. Membership expires on March 31 every year, dues then become in arrears and require re-application with two sponsors.
4. Household Membership- This membership includes 2 members who abide in the same
household. Both members have voting rights but only one member can hold office in the club at any time. This membership requires 2 sponsors who know the applicant well. Household memberships are $35.00 due and payable on January 1 every year. Membership expires March 31 every year, dues then become in arrears and require re-application with two sponsors.
